Founder’s Pledge
As the founder of the WayPoint LSA Foundation, I pledge to devote my time, energy, and resources to the mission of giving every homeless U.S. military veteran a second chance at life. I am a U.S. Army veteran who knows firsthand the discipline, sacrifice, and invisible wounds many service members carry.
Through my own means — without the need for corporate sponsorship or personal financial compensation — I will establish and sustain Life Support Areas (LSAs) to serve as safe, transitional havens for those who have been left behind.
These LSAs are not shelters. They are dignified waypoints — places where a veteran can regroup, recover, and re-enter society with the respect and support they’ve earned. Every bed, every hot meal, every counseling session, and every job lead is part of a commitment I will keep — not just as a founder, but as a fellow veteran.
I will never allow outside interests to shape the purpose of this mission. Donations are welcomed, but strings are not. No sponsor will ever own a piece of this cause.
This is not charity. This is responsibility. This is what we owe them.
Final Line: We don’t do this for applause. We do it because it’s the right thing to do — and because no one who has ever worn the uniform should be left behind.
Mission Statement
The WayPoint LSA Foundation exists to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our brothers and sisters who served. We selflessly provide homeless veterans with a safe, structured, and supportive environment near U.S. military installations. Through transitional housing, counseling, meals, job support, and access to VA benefits, we aim to give every veteran the chance to regain stability and reintegrate into society with dignity.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to create a national network of Life Support Areas near every major U.S. military installation — each serving as a compassionate waypoint for homeless veterans in need of shelter, support, and a path to re-integration. These LSAs will provide the resources, time, and space our veterans need to recover from trauma, reconnect with purpose, and rebuild their lives — because they once thanklessly stood ready to sacrifice everything for us, and now it’s our turn to stand for them.
Ethics Statement
The WayPoint LSA Foundation is grounded in the core belief that every U.S. military veteran deserves dignity, respect, and a second chance. As a veteran-founded, independently funded not-for-profit organization, we are committed to the highest ethical standards in everything we do.
- Integrity and Accountability – We operate with transparency and integrity at all levels. Every dollar donated, every service provided, and every decision made will be driven by the mission — not by politics, pressure, or personal gain. Our leadership, staff, and volunteers are held to the same standard of discipline and accountability expected in military service.
- Veteran-Centered Commitment – We serve homeless U.S. military veterans with compassion, without judgment, and with full respect for their lived experiences. We recognize the complexity of trauma, addiction, mental health, and family loss — and we provide support that is structured, patient, and tailored to each veteran’s needs. We believe that recovery is possible, and reintegration is earned through support — not shame.
- Independence from Outside Influence – The WayPoint LSA Foundation will not accept corporate sponsorships, branded partnerships, or any outside affiliations that could influence our purpose, direction, or decisions. We are — and will remain — independently funded to ensure our mission stays pure, uncompromised, and veteran-focused. Donations are welcomed from individuals, organizations, or entities only if they come with no expectations of control, promotion, or recognition. This foundation will never be used as a platform for corporate visibility or agenda-setting of any kind.
- Public Trust and Transparency – We will maintain open, honest communication with the public, our donors, our volunteers, and — most importantly — the veterans we serve. Financials will be made available upon request, and all operational decisions will be guided by a commitment to ethical stewardship of the mission.
WayPoint LSA is currently a developing concept and does not represent an operational program or incorporated nonprofit organization at this time.
