Step 1: Estimate XRP Holdings by Global Institutions & Governments
Currently, major central banks hold reserves primarily in:
- Gold (~$13T global reserves)
- U.S. dollars (~$7T in reserves held internationally)
- Government bonds (global bond market = ~$100T+)
Now, with XRP added to the U.S. Strategic Crypto Reserve, other nations will likely adopt XRP as a reserve asset.
If central banks allocate just 1-5% of their gold or USD reserves into XRP, that’s:
- 1% of $20T = $200B in XRP holdings
- 5% of $20T = $1T in XRP holdings

Now, assume each XRP is used 5 times per day (velocity factor = 5).
