When I was a young child, my father explained to me that blood is much thicker than water. He also explained to me that some people over look the fact that we can’t choose who is in our bloodline. I do not understand how anyone can rightfully choose to ignore that fact.
My family has experienced more than our “fair share” of loss, much more than I care to talk about. But with that being said, having family in our lives is a precious gift we can not turn our back on. Now, we all can agree that sometimes various members within our family can be annoying or obnoxious, to the point that we do not like being around them for long periods of time. But they are still family all the same.
